I feel just like this song today, mainly the guitar chords. Stipe gets a little weird on this version — hard to tell if he forgot some of the words, or just wanted to make odd noises at certain points. Here’s my review of the song on the Pop Songs site.

Great guitar sound on this track.

I forgot what Michael Stipe looked like with hair. Odd.

Fortunately, it does not diminish my love of this song.
